Our Local Vested Interest
is the heart of
the Sechelt & District
Chamber of Commerce

The Sechelt & District Chamber of Commerce acts, supports and informs on behalf of our trade area’s business community. We accomplish this by shaping dialogue and identifying issues of concern to member businesses, and by taking initiative on the topics that matter most.

Check out the following important and exciting news – big changes ‘to benefit all’ are happening on the Sunshine Coast!

In 2021, we focused our efforts on supporting our hospitality business sector through a contest encouraging take-out when indoor dining was unavailable. We virtually hosted Mark Collins, CEO of BC Ferries who was answering questions regarding the proposed reservation trials.

We also held our first in person event since 2020, the Federal Election Candidates Forum at the Blue Ocean Golf Club, which gave our members a Sunshine Coast specific perspective on the candidates in our riding.

The Chamber is well connected and engages elected officials
at all levels of government
to ensure Sechelt’s business interests are heard.

The above is just a snapshot of our local business advocacy efforts. We invite you to find out more about our local programs, initiatives and events.

Let us know how we can assist your business.

It’s a great day to join!
