The Voice of Business in Sechelt & District

Our Story

As Sechelt’s most influential business advocate, the Sechelt & District Chamber of Commerce works to ensure a business climate in which Sechelt & District Chamber members, large and small, can compete successfully in the local, regional and provincial marketplaces.

Since 1993, the Sechelt & District Chamber has been advocating to lower your cost of doing business. We work with a network of approximately 200 companies that see the value in such a service and provide the vital support that keeps our access, advocacy, and assistance efforts going strong.  As Sechelt & District’s Chamber, we make sure that the business environment of the town continues to thrive.

The Sechelt & District Chamber of Commerce advocates on behalf of your interests before municipal agencies, and through meetups, workshops, and affiliated programs.

The Sechelt & District Chamber is a not-for-profit organization supported through membership dues and contributions. Our advocacy staff and board members regularly with various community organizations and intervenes as needed to advocate for growth, sustainability, and economic wellbeing. We also keep our members informed through newsletters, emails, reports, meetups, workshops, and through personal contacts.

Having always wanted to be actively involved with the local community, Graham created a local social media group focused on engaging residents, promoting local businesses, and encouraging dialogue and discussion. It has successfully grown over the years and currently numbers over 2000 members.
